Jeff Jackson, Ph.D., is a career guide and owner operator of Algonquin Fly Fishing. He is a FFI casting instructor, certified angling guide, and ambassador for Guideline fly fishing products. He has worked on rivers from the Yukon to Utah and is proud to call the Ottawa Valley home.
In the winter he is a college professor and recognized expert in outdoor adventure risk management.

Matt was taught to fly fish by his grandfather and eventually inherited his original bamboo fly rods. Spring and fall brook trout either by canoe or hiking is Matt's specialty. Jones is a full-time professional fishing guide, spending the spring brook trout season with us in Algonquin Park, summer as the head guide at Hawk Lake Lodge in Northern Ontario, and winter running his own ice fishing hut rentals near Sudbury. Tim spends more time fishing than anyone. Spring brook trout in Algonquin Park and then musky the rest of the summer! Tim has guided canoe trips in the park for almost 20 years, and is a high school science teacher in the winter.
