Algonquin Fly Fishing: Drift Boat & Guided Fishing

There is nothing like fly fishing from a drift boat. Sitting up high, flowing with the current, and casting into the eddies as you float by is thrilling and rewarding. Our traditional western drift boats or fully rigged fly fishing rafts are stable, comfortable, and the ideal fishing platform. Our pro guides put you in the perfect position to fly cast to the eddies, runs, or river bank. We spend the day in and out of the boat, fishing the current or shore fishing or wading particularly productive spots.
Our best drift boat season is June, July and August, when we run the gentle whitewater and pools of eastern Algonquin's Petawawa, Madawaska and Ottawa Rivers. Small mouth bass are on tap. Suitable for one or two anglers per boat, beginner or advanced. Lunch is a picnic along the river. First timers are encouraged to choose the bass drift boat day trip option, as we will catch a ton of fish! Half day hike and wading or shore fly fishing can be arranged, as can canoe access to remote lakes. We even have a couple large mouth bass, musky, and pike locations if you are ticking off different species.
Multi day Algonquin Park river trips are ideal for those looking for a raft supported river trip fishing experience. Overnight or 4-5 day options to meet your needs (by special request and with limited availability). Canoe based fly fishing Algonquin lakes and streams are in our backyard: brook trout in spring and fall or pike/musky big game fishing! We take care of everything.
