About us
Algonquin Fly Fishing is Eastern Ontario’s premium guide service. We offer unique, customized and client-centred fly fishing adventures. We are career guides that call the rivers and lakes of eastern Algonquin Park and the Ottawa Valley home, and have a proven history of providing exceptional, distinctive fishing opportunities. We are proud to have earned the GreenStep Sustainable Tourism Silver Award.

Our fishing
Algonquin Park is world famous for its 1500 cold water lakes, 1200 km of streams, majestic pine forests and wilderness charm. It also has the greatest concentration of native brook trout lakes and streams in the world! Ideal for spring fishing. These small streams feed deep, big, whitewater rivers, with outstanding small mouth bass, pike or musky fishing - our go-to for June, July and August. Fishing pressure is very low, so expect to be all alone on these beautiful waters.
Join us
Our specialty: float one of the many Ottawa Valley rivers from the comfort of our traditional western river drift boat or a fully outfitted oar rig raft - a couple of hours or a couple of days. Hike into a remote wilderness stream, fish a lonely pond in the early morning mist, or learn to cast and catch fish on a fly. A day or two with Algonquin Fly Fishing are truly memorable and unique.
